Privacy Policy

1. Information PetCremLog processes

PetCremLog processes information needed to provide the service, including account and user data, email addresses, login sessions, facility settings, pet and case records, custody events, notes, archive and trash history, labels, certificates, case records, status-link data, uploads/photos, support emails, and billing provider metadata.

If you upload photos or files, those uploads may be stored and processed as part of the operational record.

2. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide account access, generate records and artifacts, support chain-of-custody workflows, maintain security, respond to support requests, and operate the service.

Status links may create limited access metadata, such as token use, request timing, or browser information, to help operate and protect those links.

3. Billing provider

Creem handles new PetCremLog subscriptions as Merchant of Record. Creem may collect payment, tax, buyer, receipt, and subscription metadata directly during checkout. PetCremLog does not store full card details.

4. Sharing

PetCremLog does not sell operational data. Limited information may be shared with infrastructure, storage, email, security, analytics, and payment providers when needed to run, protect, or support the service.

5. Analytics and advertising

PetCremLog uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics. These tags measure product visits, sign-ups, trials, and checkout starts so we can understand how facilities find the service. Google signals and advertising personalization are turned off, and the Analytics property is not linked to a Google advertising account, so this measurement is not a sale or a share of personal information.

A Google Ads click identifier may be stored in a first-party, HTTP-only cookie for attribution when you arrive from an advertisement. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before any of this measurement begins, and no tags load until that consent is given.

If PetCremLog later links this measurement to advertising, that use is disclosed here before it starts, and the controls below continue to apply.

6. Storage and security

PetCremLog uses reasonable technical safeguards such as private account access, filtered sensitive parameters, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

PetCremLog does not claim HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, or other formal certification as part of this policy.

7. Export and deletion requests

You can export your data and delete your account directly in the app from Settings, not by email request. Owners can download contacts, cases, and custody-events CSVs or prepare a private workspace ZIP with operational records, documents, and stored files. Ordinary operational CSVs exclude cases in Trash; the ZIP keeps them in a separate trash section with their original files and a Case Record, without generating a new certificate or tracking label. Any staff member can move a case to Trash and restore it before the deadline. Trash records show the actor and date and are automatically purged six calendar months after deletion; only the owner can permanently delete one sooner. If you cancel your subscription, your account remains accessible until the end of the paid term. Account data is retained for 90 days and may then be permanently deleted in each of these cases: after a cancelled or expired subscription's paid access ends; after the paid access of a paused subscription ends; and after a free trial ends without a subscription. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, security, dispute, payment, or legal reasons.

After account deletion, PetCremLog retains a pseudonymous identifier derived from an email address when that address has used a free trial. The identifier is not stored as a readable email address and is used only to prevent repeated free-trial abuse.
